Navarre take a strong win over Creek
The Navarre Grasshoppers have leapt their way to their third win of the season, taking a commanding victory over Campbells Creek by 35 goals.

After their low-scoring victory over Lexton in round four, the Grasshoppers found their offensive groove rather quickly, making 14 of their 16 shots to lead by six at quarter time.
Substituting for the absent Erin Jackson, Brianna Hyslop paired well with Chloe Frank for Navarre as Frank netted 10 goals and Hyslop scored four.
Ella Cochrane and Eillish Cumming produced a similar level of chances for the Magpies shooters, but Jemma Finning and Elouise Jones couldn’t keep up with the Grasshoppers torrid pace, scoring five and three respectively.
The second quarter produced a similar story to the opening 15 minutes, with the Grasshoppers remaining highly efficient in front of goal while tightening their defensive structure to have a comfortable 31-15 advantage at half time.
Hyslop found her shooting form rapidly, scoring nine goals in the second while being well supported by Frank, who contributed eight.
Jones had a similar shooting touch to her Navarre counterparts in the second term, converting five of six shots with Finning adding two.
The half time break offered no respite for Campbells Creek, as Navarre kept their foot on the gas to have the game effectively sewn up at three quarter time, leading by 27.
Hyslop and Frank continued to be a deadly duo for the Grasshoppers, scoring nine and six respectively before Jess Parry was subbed in for Frank and netted two goals.
Taylah Sartori was also moved into the goal circle for the Magpies, making two goals and linking well with Jones, who scored four.
Campbells Creek continued to fight until the very end, but a 17-9 final quarter solidified the result for Navarre, who registered back-to-back victories.
Hyslop and Frank finished with a combined shooting percentage of just under 78 percent, powering Navarre to their highest score of 2025.
There were plenty of positives for the Magpies in the final quarter, with Finning converting all six of her shots and Jones making three.
