Navarre take 94-point win over Creek
Navarre has finished the home and away season with a 94-point victory over the winless Campbells Creek away from home.

An inaccurate Navarre opened the first quarter by kicking three goals and eight behinds, while keeping the hosts scoreless.
Wil Clough broke through with the first goal of the game after 14 minutes when he marked a pass from youngster Will Moloney.
The next goal came quickly after through Sam Walker, who had a very good game, gathering many possessions and using the ball with precision.
Campbells Creek’s Michael White did an outstanding job in the first term, keeping gun forward Aaron Slorach goalless.
Creek opened the second term strongly with Matthew Cox’s snapshot from the opening bounce from a Joel Wooton handball.
However, the resurgence was short-lived as Slorach broke loose in the second term, kicking five goals in succession to help Navarre lead at half time by 63 points.
It was more of the same in the third term as the Grasshoppers kicked another seven goals and kept Creek to just one scoring shot for the term.
To Creek’s credit, they fought the game out to the finish and were rewarded by winning the final term, kicking four goals to finish the home and away season on a high.
Even though it was a winless season, Creek has shown definitive signs of improvement and only needs some positive recruiting to start moving up the ladder.
Navarre’s season continues into the finals series, and they will be confident of defeating Dunolly this coming Sunday in the elimination final at CHS Broadbent Oval.
The Grasshoppers’ best players against Creek were Luke Hendy, Oliver Notting, Walker, Sam Rickard, Jayden Fowkes and Slorach.
Campbells Creek named Dylan Stevens, James Haber, Hadley Bassett, Cox, Mitch Kerney and Mitchell Stevens as their best players.
