Natte dominates Campbells Creek by 55 goals
Natte Bealiba will enter their blockbuster clash with Talbot atop the MCDFNL A grade standings after another convincing victory over Campbells Creek.
The 77-22 win placed the Swans ahead of rivals Avoca on percentage, preserving their undefeated record after an astonishing start.
Even with Ella Tranter absent, Natte Bealiba quickly asserted their dominance in the midcourt, preserving their typically exquisite ball movement while tackling the slippery conditions.
Despite playing just her second A grade match of the season, Macy Tatchell filled in seamlessly along-side Ebony Raven, Chloe Ross and Darci Rodgers, forcing several early turnovers and supplying early shots for Sian Mortlock and Chelsea Ross.
The Swans’ shooting tandem converted 21 of their first-quarter attempts, giving the visitors a dominant 19-goal advantage at the opening break.
With aspirations of producing a much more competitive second term, the Magpies shuffled their lineup at quarter time.
Captain Taylah Sartori looked to provide extra creativity to an attack that scored two goals in the first period at wing attack, while Reagan Fulford joined Phoebe Jones and McKenna Wynveen in defence.

Building upon their second quarter improvements, Campbells Creek began the second half very well, with Jones and Fulford’s generating consistent stops thanks to their persistant effort.
Natte’s defensive pressure across the court eventually overwhelmed the hosts, as their margin increased to 39 goals after a competitive third term.
After netting 17 goals with a shooting percentage of 89.4 percent for the 18 and under’s earlier in the day, Chelsea Ross continues to announce herself as one of the most promising shooters in the MCDFNL, ending Natte’s 55-goal victory with an A grade career-high 46 goals.
Sian Mortlock also had another stellar showing, moving up to sixth in the competition’s goal-scoring table with 31 goals on Saturday.
Teenager King showed promise in her senior debut for the Magpies, leading the team with 15 goals.
