MCDFNL Round 9 Football Preview Navarre v Lexton
Two old Lexton Football League rivals renew acquaintances this weekend when Navarre hosts Lexton in a match that could have significant implications on the MCDFNL ladder.
Navarre enters the contest after bouncing back strongly from its heavy loss to Talbot, recording a convincing 61-point victory over Dunolly.
Captain Riley Bibby was outstanding with seven goals, while Sam Walker, Brady Tillig, Shannon Treloar, Harry Schroder, and Sam Rickard all played key roles in the win.
Lexton will also arrive full of confidence after a dominant 73-point victory over Avoca. The Tigers controlled the match from the outset, with Pat Parr booting five goals and Jaxon Thomas continuing his outstanding season in front of goal.
