With over 2000 competitors across three days of competition, with clubs competing from all over Australia, the team of five from the club brought home five Golds, three Silvers and five Bronze medals.

They competed in multiple events, that included individual, pairs and teams during the Poomsae Technical divisions, with all securing a Gold championship medal in their respective divisions.

The team qualified recently at the State Victoria championships selection event held in Melbourne in August this year.

Head instructors Brian and Heather Carr were proud of the success of the team and the commitment to training leading up to the event.

“For a small club, we have achieved a great result representing our local community on a National stage,” Brian said.

In addition, club member Staci Jones was selected to judge with other officials at the event.

The club are looking forward now to next year’s State and National events.
