Their recent grading was challenging, and both dug deep to earn the high DAN grading with high skill levels in fighting, self-defence against grabs and weapons attacks as well as consecutive board breaks.

Their determination and skills have been honed by years of hard work and commitment to consistent training at an elite level and strength of mind and body.

Head instructors Brian and Heather Carr were impressed and proud of these young martial arts experts, not just by their skills, but by their never-ending dedication to helping others in the training classes.

Jones and Branton commenced training at the club during primary school and continue their Taekwondo journey at Maryborough Martial Arts, both working towards future gradings.
