In Short: Collision prompts safety message
Local police are urging locals to drive safely and to the conditions following a two-vehicle collision earlier this week.
While no one was injured, police say the collision is a prime example of why road safety is so important.
Local Police are reminding motorists to remain vigilant during busy times on the road following a two-vehicle collision on Tuaggra Street at 9 am on Wednesday morning.
A vehicle turning out of Alma Street failed to obey a stop sign before colliding with another car.
Central Goldfields Highway Patrol and Maryborough Fire Brigade attended the incident for around 45 minutes. Paramedics were also on scene to assess passengers, but no one was injured.
Local police said the incident is a timely reminder for motorists to pay attention to the rules while out on the road, particularly at busy times.
