Four goals the margin for Trentham and Dunolly
Trentham have slotted their first win for the season, with a competitive 28-point victory over Dunolly.

It was the first quarter that decided the match for the home side, with Trentham kicking eight goals to a slow starting Dunolly’s two.
The second quarter saw Dunolly fight back, limiting Trentham to two goals while kicking one of their own in a hotly contested 20 minutes of play.
Returning from the main break, and with 44 points to make up, Dunolly seemed to be doing all the right things, increasing their score out to 41 points to trail Trentham by 29, with the Saints unable to goal, kicking three behinds.
The result was sealed in the final quarter however, with Trentham’s James Regan proving a reliable avenue to goal — helping to get the home side back on the scoreboard with three goals and two behinds.
Dunolly on the other hand had another strong quarter, kicking four goals and three behinds, largely through the efforts of Lloyd Needs.
At the final siren, and despite Dunolly’s fight back in the second half, Trentham were clear winners with a four-goal lead.
For Trentham, Edward Fanning, Sam Kelly, James Regan, Marcus Elderfield, Jake Keogh and Cooper Webber-Mirkin were in the best.
Kicking four goals for the day, Needs was Dunolly’s best kick and was named in the best for his efforts, alongside Ryan Burt, Dylan Burt, Jay McDonald, Adal Zuk and Lachlan Watson.
